We are proud to announce Think Labs from Seven2 and 14Four!

As part of the Think Labs project, we are offering a series of classroom training sessions in online development. For years we’ve been putting our new employees through a rigorous training program to help get them up to speed. Now we would like to share that training with you. For Free!

In our sessions we are changing things up a little. Think Labs training sessions will now broken up into two distinct courses:

Think Labs 101 – Animation & Design

Think Labs 201 – Programming & Game Creation

Think Labs 101 will start from the ground up and cover the basics of the Flash interface and toolset, common Flash workflow and timeline animation. Think Labs 201 will take things to the next level from there, progressing into programming and game development. By offering these two separate courses, we hope to open up Think Labs training to students of varying Flash experience levels. Whether you are completely new to Flash or looking to level up your existing Flash skills, there will be a course for you. Think Labs 101 will be starting September 21st and Think Labs 201 will follow in the Spring.

Wait, the first session is starting September 21st? Isn’t that really soon!? Yup.

The good news is that we won’t be distributing any golden tickets in high calorie chocolate bars to get in. The bad news is that we only have room for 10 people in each course. We are looking for talented, highly motivated, self starters with a passion to further their knowledge of Flash. So show us what you’ve got! We would love to see your application.
